Cougars Sign Some New Players
Prince George, B.C.- The Prince George Cougars have signed their top two draft picks and have changed radio stations for the broadcast of their games.
Signed are 1998 born forward Kody McDonald of Lethbridge Alberta, and defenceman Josh Anderson of Duncan B.C. Both have been signed to a a standard WHL contract.
The big news out of the Cougars’ camp today is that for the first time since the team started play in Prince George, the games will NOT be broadcast on a Pattison Group station.
The Cougars have inked a deal with 94XFM, which is owned by Vista Radio. Cougars’ play-by-play announcer Dan O’Conner will start his 3rd season as the Voice of the Cougars, with 94X Sports Director Hartley Miller joining him in the booth and on the air.
