Fatal in Charlie Lake No Accident

Ft. St. John, B.C.- RCMP in Fort St. John are investigating the death of a male.

Police say they responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 250 Road and 271 Road in Charlie Lake, about 8:50 last evening.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the body of a 20 year old male from the Fort St. John area.  Early investigation leads police to believe this was not a random act.

The Fort St. John RCMP General Investigative Section, Regional General Investigative Section, North District Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Section and Police Dog Service are investigating.
