Better becareful- Mulroney might sue

What are the odds that dictator, control freak, Harper knew nothing about what was going on in his own PMO?

Ya, cash in envelopes and the people of Canada let him walk.

Adscam? Don’t give the liberals a free ride.

Wow! Great cartoon! The two look so real!

How does bringing up something the Liberals did when they were in government make the Conservatives scandals any less acceptable?

The Conservatives were elected based on a promise to be more open, honest, and accountable! They claimed they were going govern with higher and better standards than the Liberals, yet this is what we get?

And now the Conservative fall back is; “well look what the Liberals did when they were in power?” If the Conservatives are so morally and ethically superior a government than all others, then why are they measuring themselves to Liberal standards?

Time for me to protest vote in the next Federal election. NDP or even an independent will get my vote, forget about the Liberals and the Conservatives, they both had their chances time and again and used their positions in power for corrupt purposes!

NDP hilarious.

Great cartoon…….lol crooked says, crooked does!!

Great cartoon…….lol crooked says, crooked does!!

Great cartoon…….lol crooked says, crooked does!!

Sorry, I guess I really liked that cartoon….lol

Harper and co’s image took hits externally and internally over the past month, a nuclear meltdown. He will be toast if more rebel MP Tories join WRathgeber.

Harper is so disingenuous and hypocritical in what he will say to get elected and what he does once in power. I admit I was one that was fooled by him in his early days… and I think more are starting to realize Harper is about game theory for political power more so than principals he uses to get that power.

Local, provincial and federal government=do as i say not as i do

All this BS about Harper is boring to the 10th degree.

Harper goes about doing his job. Lets not forget that it is the job of the opposition to make things hot for the Governing party, and the NDP and Liberals are trying to do just that.

Seems to me that Duffy, and Wallin were big time employee’s of the CBC and had some credibility in Canada. Who would have thought they would cause these kinds of problems for the Government.????

Does Harper have some sort of crystal ball that tells him what is going to happen in the future.

He is also getting a rough ride by the CBC, I wonder if this is because of some serious cuts they are going to get to their budgets??

The CBC should find something else to report on than Harper and his Government, or are they incapable doing so???

“Don’t bite the hand that feeds you”… an interesting and apt description of the CBC news coverage of the governing Conservative government.

Just exactly who has been exposing these political and financial scandals? Lots of political breaking news stories, starting with the words; “leaked to the CBC” end up becoming embarrassing scandals to present and past governments. The 5th Estate and W-5 have both been the investigative starts to many political scandals, which have come to light over the past decades.

I, for one, am glad we have a national public news station that, through real “investigative journalism”, puts to task any sitting government’s performance!

The left-leaning CBC costs 1.2 Billion (That’s Billion with a B) to run. How many millions does the senate cost? Both are equally useless.

“This is not an abstract concern. Some years ago the CBC program Marketplace did a show based on a consumer survey showing a large number of Ford vehicle owners were dissatisfied with how quickly their cars rusted. The company, a major advertiser on the CBC, forced Marketplace to broadcast a humiliating public retraction as a result of the pressure it applied on the broadcaster. The lesson for Marketplace producers was simple: don’t pick on large corporations with deep pockets.”

“With such conflicts of interest, it seemed just a matter of time before commercialization would start to unravel the production culture within the public broadcaster. Loyalty to both public and advertiser interests cannot coexist. It is a prescription for organizational schizophrenia.”

“To put it another way, the $300 million or so that the CBC receives yearly from commercial revenues undermines the $1.1 billion investment of Canadian taxpayers. In time, the $300 million tail ends up wagging the $1.1 billion dog.”

I for one would like to watch my news, without it being vetted by large corporations who have their own self-serving interests, and not the public’s, in mind!!!
