Chamber Launches Search For Permanent CEO
Prince George, BC – Wanted: a permanent Chief Executive Officer ready to rise to the challenge of running the Prince George Chamber of Commerce.
Dorothy Friesen was a Chamber board director before stepping into the position on a temporary position after Jennifer Brandle-McCall announced her decision to step aside in June.
Friesen says the experience has been an eye-opener, "It’s a really interesting job. I must say, it’s way broader than I thought it was as a director."
"I know there are some very, very good local candidates and I hope that they all apply for this jobs," she adds.
The position is now posted at pgchamber.bc.ca, with a closing date of August 23rd.

Yes, I can just imagine the qualifications necessary to fill the position. If any of what issues from the Snooze Chamber is an indication of the requisite skills needed, they will be few.
Wanted: reknowned basket weaver extraordinaire, with infinite patience, zero emergent prospects, a love for the sound of their own voice, and adept tea party skills.
Educational requirements are quite lax. Even an Arts degree from UNBC will suffice.
How much does it pay?

Colour me picky…. but one is not a candidate unless they’ve actually applied for the position.

Speaking of picky, did she really say “…apply for this JOBS”? Perhaps she said “…apply for this JOB”.
