Khaira Signs Deal With Oilers

Prince George, B.C.- Former Spruce Kings player, Jujhar Khaira has signed with the Edmonton Oilers with a three year entry level deal.
Khaira played two seasons with the Spruce Kings and was drafted 63rd overall by the Oilers in the 2012 NHL Draft.
Last season, Khaira played NCAA Division I hockey with the Michigan Tech Huskies finishing the season with 6 goals and 19 assists in 37 games. In his two seasons with the Spruce Kings, Khaira finished with 39 goals and 82 assists in 112 games.
Khaira will be joining the Edmonton Oilers for the start of their training camp and looking to find a regular spot on the team’s roster or with their American Hockey League farm team, the Oklahoma City Barons.
