Major Crime Investigates Serious Incident in Takla Landing

Takla Landing, B.C. – Police are saying very little about an incident that occurred overnight in the community of Takla Landing.
North District RCMP Media Relations Officer Constable Lesley Smith says the North District Major Crime Unit and Takla Landing RCMP are checking into a “serious” incident that followed a report of a domestic incident. There is no further information about what occurred or whether injury or death is involved.
Cst. Smith says police are still gathering details about the occurrence and are in the early stages of their investigation.
Takla Landing is about 200 kilometres north of Fort St James.
