Name of Deceased Grader Operator Released

Prince George, B.C. – The grader operator who died on Monday while working on the Stone Creek Forest Service Road was 63 year old Mervyne Philip Reeves, of Willow River.
Reeves was operating a Caterpillar grader on the Stone Creek Forest Service Road shortly before 2 p.m. on Aug. 19 when the grader went off the road and into a lake at the side of the road. Although emergency personnel managed to free him from the cab of the grader, efforts to revive him were not successful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service, WorkSafeBC and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
