A beautiful weekend, weather-wise, to enjoy an extra day at the lake
Prince George, BC – From all of us here at 250News, we’d like to wish you a Happy Labour Day.
Another sun-filled day is on the way, as many get to enjoy an extra day of relaxing. Today’s high is forecast to hit 26-degrees.
Although Environment Canada is calling for more cloud to move into the region tomorrow, it’s going to be even hotter – at 28-degrees.
Wednesday will be the coolest day of the week, 22-degrees, before the mercury climbs back to 25 and 26 degrees for the remainder of the week.
Not a bad start to September.

Bah! I’ll be laboring on labour day :(
Enjoy the day peeps
There’s a new middle school being built just up the road from us (in Port Moody). No construction yesterday…. but they’re at it today. Double time and a half… kaching!
Tax dollars hard at work (sigh). No wonder school districts are going broke.
…but have a great labour free day!
I would suspect that school is being built under contract so its up to the contractor.
Private contractors (I suspect that the same) have to make a profit and if he does finish by a certain date or before he/she will not have to pay any penalty and can move on to another job, to make money and hopefully a profit. Governments do not have such constraints.
Sooo who is building the school, government or a contractor that won the build.
