Airport Cleared , Reopened

Prince George, B.C.- The Prince George Airport has been re-opened following an incident that occurred around 8:20 this morning.
RCMP Media Liaison Corporal Craig Douglass says the airport was evacuated and shut down following the discovery of a suspicious package. It has now been revealed a person tried to get two grenade style tobacco grinders through security.
That prompted the shut down and evacuation of the building for about 20 minutes.
All roads to the airport were closed to traffic. The air space over the airport remained open, and it was up to individual carriers to decide whether or not to land.

Looks kind of neat at a store, but what were you thinking to get that on a plane.
Why is it when taxpayer dollars are involved cooler heads can never prevail?
send the guy the security bill-what the heck was he thinking?
Alexvega, when it comes to a potential threat to safety, a false positive is always preferable to a false negative.
Krusty. Nice bumper sticker, but no. A quick check of the items would have cleared-up any substandard training of an over-zealous screener.
Thanks Krusty. Right on.
Alexvega you don’t travel do you! You don’t even spell the word bomb in an airport!
Probably forgot it was in the carry on luggage. I forgot had a spent rifle shell in my pocket and got discovered at security. God taken away of course. Everyone makes mistakes at some time.
