The Red Nose Push Is On

Sunday, November 10, 2013 @ 4:32 AM
Prince George, B.C. – Operation Red Nose begins this year’s service in Prince George in less than three weeks, and organizers are continuing the drive to sign up volunteers for the program.

The goal is 350 volunteers. On Wednesday the number of people registered was 107, by Friday it was 132. Volunteers drive party-goers and their vehicles home, but you don’t have to be a driver. You can still take part as a navigator, escort vehicle driver or a worker at Red Nose headquarters. However you have to be cleared through a criminal record check and that takes time, and time is running thin. Further information is available at www.ornpg.ca

The service is being provided November 29th and 30th, as well as December 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st and December 31st. The official launch is taking place this Wednesday at Operation Red Nose headquarters near 15th and Ospika.

I don’t believe you have to be available for all those dates. So if you can make some of them it would help.
