Cariboo Cougars Win in Victoria

Prince George, B.C. – Isaiah Berra scored twice as the Cariboo Cougars beat the South Island Royals 3-1 Saturday in B.C. Major Midget Hockey action in Victoria.
Steven Jandric had the other goals plus two assists as the Cougars extended their road win streak to three games and improved to 6-6-1 this season. Jeremy Matte picked up the victory between the pipes.
The win moves the Cougars to within a point of the fourth-place Royals and the Prince George club can inch ahead of the island squad when they teams meet again at 9:45 this morning.
