Tuition Hike Possible at CNC

Prince George, B.C. – The College of New Caledonia will be looking at boosting tuition for 2014/15 .
CNC’s Board of Governors will examine the request at its January 24th meeting.
The increase would have to be approved by the Province, which has in the past limited tuition hikes to about 2%.
Administration says if a 2% boost is approved, that would increase the cost per course by about $5 dollars, and would generate about $100 thousand dollars for CNC.
CNC’s interim President, Bryn Kulmatycki says even with an increase, CNC would be the second most affordable post-secondary institution in the province.

Perhaps if they did not have any increase they would be the first most affordable post-secondary institution in the Province.
Go for Ist.

If I were heading up a college, I would go for best ….. not for cheapest …..
Actually, NVIT’s tuition is listed under institutes rather than colleges and has the lowest fee at $2,329.
If you cant afford to go.. then work another year and save up… thats what I had to do and worked out great.
I dont want to hear anyone say they cant afford to go or that post secondary should be free etc etc. If a 2% increase will put you over your budget then you didnt budget right in the first place
