Snowboarder’s Name Released

Prince George, B.C. – The 27 year old woman who died in a snow boarding incident at Powder King has been identified. She was Maxinne Peters of Grande Prairie.
Ms. Peters was snowboarding out of bounds with a companion on Saturday December 14th, when she went into a tree well, then plunged head first into deep snow.
She was not able to free herself and died at the scene.
