BC Parks Prepares for Bookings in Two Areas
Prince George, B.C.- It may not be camping season yet, but, you can make reservations for the Berg Lake Trail and Bowron Lake canoe circuit – when reservations open for the 2014 season on Jan. 2.

BC Parks says advanced preparation is required for adventures on the Berg Lake Trail and Bowron Lake canoe circuit because of the type of back country experiences involved.
The Berg Lake Trail and Bowron Lake canoe circuit are quite popular with local visitors and have a higher proportion of international travellers than most other BC Parks destinations. By providing reservations for the entire season early in the year, visitors can
properly plan while having the security of knowing a site will be available for their vacation.
In 2013, the Bowron Lake canoe circuit had 1,073 bookings and the Berg Lake Trail had 1,463 bookings, with approximately 25 per cent of bookings originating from outside of Canada.
The Berg Lake Trail is open year-round in Mount Robson Provincial Park, and reservations can be made for the period June 12 through Sept. 15.
Bowron Lake Provincial Park's canoe circuit can be reserved from May 15 to Sept. 21.
