Prince Rupert, B.C.- Prince Rupert RCMP say the vehicle of a missing 26 year old man was recovered from the water near the city Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say Adam Moore’s Volkswagen Jetta was pulled from the Galloway Rapids Bridge area with the body of a deceased man inside.  Constable Matthew Ericson says the identity of the victim will not be released until the BC Coroners Service can confirm who the person is.

Moore was last spotted at the Prince Rupert 7-11 at 3:15 a.m. December 29th.

RCMP divers began searching the water after pieces of Moore’s vehicle were discovered near the Galloway Rapids Bridge between Prince Rupert and Port Edward Sunday afternoon.
