Making the Best of It
Prince George, B.C.- The saying is, “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade”.
Well a Prince George man has taken that saying to heart, in the Hart.
Jay Dupras was facing a formidable snow bank in front of his Berwick Drive home.
The creative juices were flowing, and Dupras got to work.
It took a couple of days, but when he was finished, the formidable snowbank told the story of Godzilla and how he terrorized a city. It is an interesting analogy, seeing as how Prince George seems to have been under attack from some villainous snow monster.
The sculpture is complete with town hall clock, highrises, roof outlines, and a long winding tail on old Godzilla himself.

As we stopped to take a few photos of the Dupras creation, vehicle after vehicle slowed to pass the 12 meter long sculpture. They got a good look, and left with a smile, some even turned around to get the view from the opposite direction. “It’s awesome” said one woman who didn’t want to leave her name, “The snowbanks are so high, they form a wall all away along the roadway, it’s great to see that someone could be so creative, it really makes me smile.”
