My congratulations and thanks go out to all the volunteers who make this happen, but this really should be run by the city as a free activity.

It is a free skate and it is organized by by the Enhance PG Committee, City of PG in cooporation with the Ice Oval Committee and local volunteers, come out and enjoy!

No, I mean free all the time. I see so many families using this facility all winter long. For lower income families, the price of skates alone can be a burden. The city could operate this facility at very little cost, and for maximum benefit of all its citizens.

Nothing is ‘free’. Also, the City doesn’t operate anything for very little cost, but it’s nice to dream.

I was sure to skate at the outdoor Oval rink is free, is it not!! If not I will not be going there, ever!
