Canadian Women Win Olympic Hockey Gold

Prince George, B.C. – The Canadian Women’s hockey team has won the gold medal at the winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Canada has won four straight Olympic gold medals in women’s hockey.
This one may be the best. Trailing the United States 2-0 with 3 minutes 26 seconds to go in the third period, Canada scored twice to tie it and send the game to overtime, and then scored the winner on the power play to defeat the U.S. by a score of 3-2.

Excellent game for sure.. after the second period I must say was getting a bit worried. Love a come from behind win.. ( should have been a penalty shot but it worked out :)
It was great Canada girls won and it was a deserved win with all their hard work, but the officials should never be a factor in any outcome and they could have been on more than one occasion. Imagine a linesman virtually body checking a defending player out of the play and leaving the door wide open for an empty net goal. Canada was lucky it wasn’t 3-1 late in the game.

Canada rocks in hockey!I truly enjoyed watching the Canadian women win the gold… wow talk about great speed and puck handling skill!
