Police Search for Suspect Following Hold Up

Prince George, B.C.- Prince George RCMP continue to search for a suspect after a robbery at a local restaurant last night.

Just after 9:00 last night, a lone male suspect entered a fast food restaurant in the 2300 block of Westwood Drive in the City.  He produced what appeared to be a hand gun.  The suspect removed a small amount of cash from the register and fled the store on foot.

Prince George RCMP Service Dog 'Azar' and his handler attended the scene and began tracking the suspect from the scene to a wooded area between Prince George Secondary School and Masich Place Stadium.  'Azar' was able to locate a discarded jacket and black airsoft pellet handgun believed to have been used in the robbery.  The suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, likely Caucasian
  • 15 to 25 years old
  • Thin build
  • Wearing black pants, black runners and a black ball cap

Singapore justice should be the punishment. I’ll keep saying, because it works!

Rehabilitating miscreants must come before permits for t.f.w. but the Singapore-caning type of punishment is good too.
