Prince George, B.C.- Should you see thick black smoke coming from the airea of the Prince George Airport today, no need to worry.
As part of ongoing recurrent fire training and certification, the Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA) will be conducting aviation related fires in the fire training area of YXS starting at 8 this morning and wrapping up at noon.

There will be all day fire training exercises tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.
These fires are held in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances and pose no threat to the public or surrounding areas.
The training will be postponed if there is a lightning storm in the area.

Almost as good as LiveLeak.com.
So who is covering the carbon tax for this training. (joking, like carbon taxes do anything at all but line pockets).
That non toxic smoke they use is pretty cool!
Why would we worry, anyways? I don’t live anywhere near the airport.
