Weekend Assault in Quesnel Leaves Man In Critical Condition
Quesnel, B.C.- A 40 year old Quesnel man remains in critical condition in hospital in Prince George, after he was assaulted on the weekend.
Police and ambulance responded to a call to a residence in the 600 block of Elm Street in Quesnel around 9:30 Saturday night.
A 40 year old male was transported to Quesnel’s G.R. Baker Hospital where he was treated for life threatening injuries before being transferred to University Hospital of Northern BC in Prince George where he remains in critical condition.
This Aggravated Assault is currently under investigation by the RCMP North District Major Crime Unit and the Quesnel RCMP General Investigation Section. The investigation has determined this was a targeted attack and it is believed the victim knew his assailants.
