Child Offered Ride By Stranger In Westgate
Prince George, BC – Prince George RCMP are investigating after a girl was offered a ride by a stranger as she was walking in the Westgate subdivision after school yesterday…
RCMP say they received a call from the girl's parent, advising that the youngster had been approached by a lone male in a car as she was walking from school near Cathedral Drive and Chartwell Avenue.
According to the parent, the man rolled down his window and asked the girl if she wanted a ride. The child ran to a nearby friend's house and the vehicle drove away.
RCMP are wanting to speak with the driver of the vehicle. He's described as approximately 20-years old with blue eyes and a stubbly beard. He was wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans, and a while ball cap. The vehicle is described as a small, silver four-door car with a dent near the front driver's side.

Maybe instead of offering rides to complete strangers and children, these ‘good samaritans’ culd direct their energies into more socially acceptable causes.
