CNC Scheduling Change Will Help Students
Prince George, B.C. – The College of New Caledonia has fine tuned its scheduling procedure to make it easier for students to take university studies courses at the college.
The Dean of the School of University Studies and Career Access at CNC, Dr. Chad Thompson, says “students told us they wanted the same times for their classes so it was easier for them to plan other commitments around their schooling. Our Registrar, Dale Grundman and his staff, listened to students and worked hard to create this new scheduling model.”
Come this September about 90 percent of the university studies courses will use balanced scheduling, giving students more opportunities to balance life and work commitments with their education.
Thompson also says “we also have to thank our faculty, who were instrumental in ensuring the change since they work most closely with CNC students.” He says the modification required agreement among faculty in numerous subjects and programs.

This is a great idea to create affordable synergies with the university for people wanting to continue their education towards a degree when done at CNC.
