Johnson Street Home Hit by Fire

Prince George, B.C. – An electrical fire this afternoon has resulted in about $40 thousand dollars damage to a Johnson Street home.
Prince George Fire Rescue responded to the call around 1:30. At approximately 1:30 this afternoon 15 firefighters from three halls responded to the home in the 900 block of Johnson.
When they arrived they found heavy smoke billowing from the rear of the home, crews were able to knock down the flames quickly.
While there were several people at home when the fire started, all had made it out of the home safely.
There are no reports of injuries.
Prince George Fire Rescue investigators remain on scene to pin point the cause of the fire.
