Prince George, B.C. – The invitation to tour the New RCMP building in Prince George has proven to be a popular event.
Last evening about 180 people turned out to see what’s inside the $40 million dollar facility. “We were at full capacity last evening” says Corporal Craig Douglass, Media Liaison officer with the local detachment.
Cpl. Douglass says most of those who attended last evening’s event were seniors “They had a very positive response to the building, they were very supportive.”
Another tour is available this evening from 6-9. Anyone wanting to attend must bring proper identification. No photos allowed.
The third and final opportunity to tour the facility is Saturday from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.

So after Saturday, as a taxpayer that paid for this building, I can’t go see it unless I am being processed or held in cells ? Silly
