Another Wildfire

Williams Lake – Crews and aircraft from the Wildfire Management Branch are responding to a fire in the Soda Creek area, west of Highway 97. The fire is currently estimated at 12 hectares in size.
More than 30 fire fighters with support from air tankers, helicopters, and heavy equipment are actioning the fire.
The Cariboo Fire Centre saysa phone tips from the public allerted them t the blaze and arapid response.
The Cariboo Fire Centre asks that the public stay clear of all fire suppression activities.

This whole province is going to be burnt up within the next month if we do not take drastic steps.

Considering the majority of fires have been naturally ignited, how do you prevent lightning strikes?
