Fire Information Officer Jill Kelsh says a Type 1 Incident Management Team will arrive in Hudson's Hope tomorrow morning to help in developing a strategy to manage the blaze.

As things stand now she says fire suppression efforts are not currently taking place and the fire remains very active.

Kelsh says the Peace River Regional District has issued an Evacuation Order for an area directly south and west of Hudson's Hope and says a wind farm to the east is at risk as a result of the fire but notes Hudson's Hope itself is not under an Evacuation Order or even an Evacuaton Alert.

She says communities in the surrounding area may experience smoke and ash as a result of the fire, but not Prince George. Kelsh says the smoke and ash PG residents are currently experiencing is likey the result of the Euchiniko Lakes fire 125 kilometres west of Quesnel.

Mackenzie looks like the smoke in the picture above. Going up the Parsnip like its a natural chimney.

PG has not much smoke in the Hart, but looks like big fire in College Heights coming in from the North scales.
