Air Tanker Support for L.C. Gunn Fire

Prince George, B.C.- Fire fighters  battling a fire at L.C. Gunn Park in Prince George, now have assistance from an air tanker.

The  fire broke out in the park  early this afternoon,  and   has Prince George Rescue Fire and Forestry Firefighters working on it.

The fire is estimated to be about 0.4 of a hectare in size.

Looked very scary from Fort George Park today….too close…just up the hill from there!

Isn’t that just walking trails up there? Id really hate to think this was set on purpose or that someone was dumb enough to flick a cigarette butt into the brush when they were finished.
