Mackenzie, B.C.- New  banners for the light poles along Mackenzie Boulevard are being installed today and tomorrow.

The banners are the result of a collaboration between the  District of Mackenzie and the McLeod Lake Indian Band and build on their  relationship.

The artwork  features  images created by Pearl Last, a member of the McLeod Lake Indian Band and former resident of Mackenzie.    The banners also  feature words and phrases in Tse’khene and English.
