Police Investigate Drive-by Shooting in the Hart
Prince George, B.C. – Police are investigating a drive-by shooting which took place in the Hart over the weekend.
Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says they first received reports of a shooting just before 10 pm Friday night.
He says an investigation revealed that a residence on Hazel Drive may have been the target noting police found a home there that appeared to be damaged by gun shots.
As a result of this discovery Douglass says the RCMP's Serious Crime Unit were called in to investigate with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Section.
He says this led them Saturday to a report of an abandoned vehicle on the 5000 block of Highway 97 which they determined was involved in the shooting.
Douglass says it appears it was a targeted attack and says police are still searching for the suspect or suspects.
He asks anyone with information about this incident to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers
