Alexis Creek, B.C. – Effective immediately, the Cariboo Regional District has rescinded the Evacuation Alert issued last week  to residents of the Bayliff Road area near Alexis Creek because of the Bull Canyon Fire.

Nine residences were under this alert.

The Cariboo Regional District advises there are still areas of danger, and people living in or travelling through  the area should exercise caution as there may be dangerous trees or hot spots .

Fire suppression activities will continue in this area.
