Prince George, B.C.- Although there is no Wildfire Smoke Advisory in effect, the air in Prince George does smell like someone just dumped a bucket of water on a campfire.
At the Plaza 400 site at 10 this morning, the 24 hour rolling average for PM 2.5 (on which Air Quality advisories are based) was at 14.5 micrograms per cubic metre. That's well below the provincial target of 25 micrograms per cubic metre.
The 24 hour rolling average for PM10 was sitting at 24.3 micrograms per cubic metre, with the Provincial target being 50 micrograms per cubic metre.

One of the worst days we’ve had? You must have been away and missed the many many very bad days we’ve had before today.
Who needs an advisory anyhow? You can see it and smell it.
I’ve been here. This has been one of the worst days breathing for me.
WELL I am smoking fish today and the air smells pretty good to me today!
Worst days? My butt! This is nothing compared to last week when it rained. Think some need to get out more.
I cannot believe there has been no advisory…the smoke was sooooo bad today that my daughter said it was making her cough and is worried about her lungs!
