I understand the irony of the location of the accident and the chuckle the title was meant to bring, but no reporting of claims can be done at an ICBC service center. They can only be reported via telephone.
Though I did chuckle :)

I really wish that these accidents were reported when it’s determined what the cause was, we rarely find out.

There was one at the intersection on 16 and Cowart Road this afternoon as well! We were just past it and driving along when we heard prolonged tire screeching, then a loud bang and a cloud of dust and stuff in the rear view mirror! Hope nobody was injured!

They have a phone for reporting claims next to the customer counter. Someone was probably turning left onto Nation in front of these two.

Good theory slinky….
Sheep truck turning onto Nation Cres, fails to signal
Neon approaching sheep truck to fast, near sighted driver staring at electronic device in their crotch
Neon slides on black ice and rear ends sheep truck…
Both drivers sheepishly talk to fire rescue personnel…
Just a theory….

Usually they aren’t “accidents”

Just look at the conditions in that photo….foggy, rainy, slippery surface, narrow road, sharp curve…. how can you blame the driver of the grey/silver car ?

So if someone (either the truck or someone ahead of it) was turning left onto Nation are they partially to blame? That’s a solid yellow line.

Right in front of Nation there is a break in the double solid line, about a car length past the trucks nose. That is why I deduce there was a vehicle in front of the truck stopped (or close to it) turning left, otherwise the truck would be at the break in the yellow line if it was the one turning. Wasn’t there so don’t know for sure.

It is legal to turn left over a solid yellow…
