“We’ll be featuring a special Thanksgiving menu including turkey and pumpkin soup, pumpkin cookies, anything pumpkin. We’ll have pumpkin carving in the welcome barn for families, bobbing for apples and crafts.”

She says they’ll also have a scare crow making contest, music, site tours and old-fashioned games.

Krizmanich says the annual event is one of the most popular of the season.

“I think everyone’s looking for something to do on that holiday Monday. It’s always a surprise to us how much people really enjoy it. We usually attract between 450 to 600 people.”

The event runs from 10:00 am – to 4:00 p.m.
