Ominous clouds – photo 250news
Prince George, B.C. – December 9th, 2014 will go in the weather record books as one very unusual day. A new record high temperature was set as the thermometer hit 11.9 degrees.
The wind was high, blowing trees on to power lines. Then the heavy clouds rolled in, there was thunder and lightning, and no one can recall a thunderstorm in December!
A torrential downpour in some areas of the City was followed by a double rainbow…
The warm temps will be here again tomorrow.

THAT is one incredible photo!
I wish I had a camera as I came down the Hart this afternoon, the colour contrast of purple & gold was incredible, then a lightning storm to top it, weird weather for sure. Great photo!!
The perfect storm.
