Mackenzie, B.C. – RCMP report  the search for a wanted man is over.

Last evening, members of the Mackenzie RCMP located and arrested Richard Harris in the backyard of a residence on Crysdale Drive in Mackenzie.

According to police, Harris, who was wanted on outstanding warrants, attempted to flee  and was apprehended in a yard after a short foot chase and may be facing new charges as a result of his arrest.

Police wish to thank the public for their assistance in locating and apprehending HARRIS.
