Winter Officially Arrives This Afternoon

Prince George, B .C. –  Winter  officially arrives in Prince George at 3:03 this afternoonThe winter solstice  makes this the day of the year with the least amount of daylight.

It’s hard to believe  winter is just hours away as the forecast is calling for  the possibility of showers  today.

The cooler temperatures will  start to settle in  tomorrow and leave us with a sunny, but  relatively green Christmas.

The rain in the bowl was 2 to 3 inches of snow at the north end of the city at my place last night. Hoping for more (:
