Prince George, B.C. – Olivia and Liam.

According to B.C.’s Vital Statistics Agency those were the most popular baby names in B.C. in 2013.

Olivia has topped the list for girls four of the past five years (including 2012) while Liam replaces Ethan which was tops in 2012.

The top five girls names in 2013 were Olivia, Emma, Sophia, Emily and Ava while for boys the top names were Liam, Mason, Ethan, Lucas and Benjamin.

43,925 babies were born in B.C. in 2013 including 22,491 boys and 21,434 girls.
