Prince George, B.C. – Prince George RCMP are trying to determine whether someone may have been shot east of the city late Friday night.

Police received a report that someone heard shots fired near Highway 16 and Upper Fraser Road. Investigating officers found evidence that someone may have been injured but have not been able to find a shooting victim. Police say a vehicle was seen leaving the area in question right after the shots were heard, but that information has not produced anyone of interest.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to give them a call.
