Thursday, January 22, 2015 @ 3:15 PM

McLEODPrince George, B.C.-  RCMP  in Prince George  believe missing 24 year old Jordan Taylor McLeod, may be linked to  case where shots were fired just east of Prince George.

RCMP were called to an area of Upper Fraser road near Highway 16  around11:45 pm on Friday, January 16th.  It had been reported that  shots had been fired at that location.  Police did  find evidence  that supported the shots fired report, and signs that  someone may have been injured.  No victim or  suspect has been located but a vehicle was observed leaving the area, right after the shots had been fired.

Then on Monday, January 19th,  24 year old Jordan Taylor McLeod  was reported missing.  He was last seen  in Prince George and Vanderhoof on Friday January 16th and  is believed to  frequent Vanderhoof often.

Police now believe his disappearance and the  shots fired incident are connected.

While police say  McLeod was known  to them,  they  say  it would be a “stretch” to suggest there is any gang activity  involved in this  matter.

Serious Crime investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle Jordan was  thought  to have been driving last Friday.

It is a 2006 Burgunday Chev Malibu bearing   a Quality Assured collision and Glass decal  on either side. ( similar vehicle  and  decal shown in photos below)  The car has a BC licence plate 163 RNA.

The Chrysler 200 was last seen in Quesnel on  Thursday January 8th.

Corporal Craig Douglass, media liaison officer  with the Prince George RCMP  says  if  you should spot one of these vehicles,  do not approach it.,  instead,  contact 9-1-1 immediately.

Police are hoping  the public will keep an eye out for these vehicles ,  especially on back roads between and around Prince George, Vanderhoof and  Quesnel.
