Prince George, B.C.- Fire Chief John Iverson has been  given  an award for Fire Services Exemplary Services.

Fire Chief Iverson was nominated for the medal for his 27 years  of service in Fire Services in Prince George.

Mayor Lyn Hall  called Chief Iverson, “An outstanding person, and outstanding leader”  the Mayor added that while Chief Iverson is being recognized for 27 years of service “I think you still have a few good years left.”
