Dawson Creek, B.C. – The Dawson Creek RCMP has a new detachment commander.

Staff Sergeant Marcel Guilbault replaces departing Staff Sergeant Milo MacDonald.

A 29 year veteran of the force, Guilbault was most recently the Operations NCO for the Fort St John detachment.

It seems policing runs deep in his family as his wife Sergeant Olivia Tremblay is the detachment commander for the Chetwynd RCMP.

“We are certainly no strangers to the Peace region and love to call this area our home,” says Guilbault.
