Spring Clean-up Set For Sunday

Saturday, April 25, 2015 @ 3:51 AM

Prince George, B.C. – REAPS is encouraging city residents to head outdoors on Sunday to take part in the annual city-wide Spring Clean-up.

The Recycling and Environmental Action Planning Society would like to see people in individual neighborhoods pick up litter from parks, playgrounds and streets throughout the city.  The project runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and at this point the weather office seems to be co-operating with a mostly sunny day in the forecast.

You can take all of the litter you collect to the free drop off bins at Hart Hwy Plaza, 3rd  and Watrous, 5th and Killoren, Ospika and Andres, Park and Bunce, College Heights Secondary and the Hudson Bay Slough.

If you’d like more information call Reaps at  250-561-7327 or email events@reaps.org.

Then once you have all picked up your garbage in town, head on out to our local hwy’s and continue picking up the rest of your garbage out there. Man, there are sure a lot of pigs travelling our hwy’s. The garbage along the right of ways is unbelievable. What’s wrong with you people, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

No freaking kidding!
