Kindergarten Health Fair in Vanderhoof
Vanderhoof, B.C. – Northern Health wants to ensure kindergarten students in Vanderhoof get off to a healthy start when the new school year starts in September.
That’s why the health authority will run its annual Kindergarten Health Fair May 13 at the Vanderhoof Health Unit.
According to Northern Health, it “provides a one-stop venue for immunization, vision dental and hearing screenings, as well as injury prevention and nutritional information. Parents are offered further support if their child is found to be in need.”
Northern Health says the fair is “part of a comprehensive school health approach” so “children can reach their full potential as learners.”
