Crash Sends Man to Hospital, Police Suspect Alcohol Involved

Vanderhoof, B.C. – A 43 year old man from Fort St. James is in hospital suffering from serious injuries following a single vehicle crash late last night.
Police say it happened just before midnight on Highway 27 near the Barlow Forest Service Road.
Officers arrived to find the vehicle, and its sole occupant, in the ditch.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but alcohol is suspected to be a factor.
The crash closed the highway for several hours.

I think it is time that if you have been drinking and you injure or hurt someone while driving you should lose your licence, no questions, for the rest of your life… there is NO EXCUSE for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs either for that matter.
Drives in the ditch……….close the highway?
