Prince George, B.C. – The University of Northern BC continues to expand its educational opportunities as it embarks upon its 26th year of existence.
For the first time UNBC Continuing Studies is offering online education as the Environmental Monitoring program went live this week with more programs, including Occupational Health and Safety and Fitness Leadership, to be added in the future. Putting the programs online makes them accessible to more students, responds to industry needs and provides more capacity for popular Continuing Studies programs.
UNBC Director Ancillary Services Aaron LeBlanc says “the development of our online platform is an important growth moment for UNBC Continuing Studies. It provides a flexible learning medium for students and is rich in video. It marks a significant opportunity for individual students or industries with training needs to connect with us. We are now primed to offer a wide range of learning mediums for students and industry alike.”
To facilitate online learning, UNBC Continuing Studies has developed video modules. The online courses cover the same material as the in-person classes.
