Prince George, B.C. – The Scotiabank and BCSPCA Paws for a Cause walk to fight animal cruelty goes today at Cottonwood Island Park.

While online registration is now over you can register to take part at the park starting at 9 am.  The registration fee is $25 for an adult, $10 for youth or free for youth but you don’t get an event t-shirt.

The Paws for a Cause is one of the BC SPCA’s big fundraisers and takes place in more than 30 communities.  So far nearly $13,000 or about 41% of this year’s  local goal has been raised.

Again registration at 9, with the 3 kilometre walk through Cottonwood Island Park starting at 11 a.m.
