The rare white-coated bear was struck yesterday on Highway 37, near Smithers.
The incident was reported to the Conservation Officer Service Hotline, and a local Conservation Officer responded to assess the bear’s condition.
The COS has posted an uplifting video on its Facebook page, showing the mother actively grazing alongside the highway with her cubs, with no visible injuries.
