Prince George, B.C. – Huble Homestead will be holding its annual Old Fashioned Thanksgiving today.
Program Manager Nicole Krizmanich says they have plenty on offer to get you into the holiday spirit.
“There will be pumpkin carving and bobbing for apples going on in the Welcome Barn for families and we’ll have scarecrow making and judging at 1pm.”
She says the special Thanksgiving menu includes turkey soup and borscht along with an assortment of pies and hot drinks.
The day will also include music, site tours, old-fashioned games and a store discount. Krizmanich says the annual event is one of the most popular of the season.
“I think everyone’s looking for something to do on holiday Monday. It’s always a surprise to us how much people really enjoy it. We usually attract 400-500 people.”
The event runs from 10:00 am – to 4:00 p.m.
