Williams Lake, BC- The BC Coroners  Service has released the name of the person  who died as a result of a crash near  Williams Lake on Friday, October 30th.

He was 52 year old Allan Mark Shewchuk of Williams Lake.

He  was the driver of a southbound SUV which  sideswiped a loaded semi truck and low-bed unit on McKenzie Ave. N. and 168 Rd. in Williams Lake, shortly after 7 p.m. on Oct. 30.  He was  transported to Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival at hospital.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
